By Email

The best way for us to provide you with individual support is via email.  Having your query in writing helps with clarity and allows us to forward your question to the most qualified person. We can also include helpful links, documents, or factsheets in our response.

Please email your questions to info@mdspatientsupport.org.uk, and we will aim to respond within 48 hours. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Emails sent outside these hours will be addressed the next working day.

Telephone support

If you don’t have email facilities you can call us on 020 7733 7558 during office hours.  As this is our office line it may be busy, but we aim to respond to voicemail messages the same or next working day.  We're a small team, and to help everyone who needs us, we try to keep calls to around 30 minutes.

Please note:  the practical help or guidance we provide is based upon the information on our website and in our guidebook, which has been compiled with the help of MDS specialists. However it does not replace advice from your own clinical team, nurse specialist or doctors.  MDS and CMML can affect everyone differently, depending upon their general health and other medical conditions, so your own clinical team should always be your first port of call for specific medical issues.  Most of our small team of staff are not clinically trained, and we cannot access medical records, make referrals, or intervene in individual cases.
