Maeve has been working in the charity and public sectors for nearly 20 years. She specialises in strategy, planning, project management and operational delivery, and her charity experience is mainly in the area of fundraising.

She has worked across a wide variety of income streams, and has worked for large and small healthcare charities including MacMillan Cancer Support, Sue Ryder Care, and Teenage Cancer Trust.

This has given her a strong understanding of the experience and needs of those living with cancer, which builds on her personal knowledge from having lost loved ones to cancer.

Maeve MacRory

In the last few years she moved into the public sector, working in the regulatory space. Having worked for the Human Tissue Authority and then UKHSA (formerly Test & Trace) during the pandemic, she has a clear understanding of the challenges this has presented for those living with cancer and other serious health conditions.

In her spare time, Maeve is a keen classical and folk musician. She has also recently taken up ju jitsu.
