The Great North Run is one of the world’s most iconic half marathons, running from the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne to the finish by the sea in South Shields. Famous for its buzzing crowds, electric atmosphere, and sense of community, it’s a day every runner remembers. For MDS UK, it’s also one of the biggest highlights of our fundraising year.
We’re proud to have a long-standing relationship with this amazing event, and incredibly grateful to everyone who has run in an MDS UK vest over the years. Their efforts have raised vital funds and increased awareness of Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), making a real difference for patients and families.
