Rock Raises for Cancer was formed last year as two of our friends were diagnosed with MDS - Blood Cancer and Breast Cancer. Both these Charities are desperate for funds for ongoing treatment and trial drugs.
John was diagnosed with MDS - Blood Cancer and offered a trial drug being tested at Treliske Hospital. This is a new trial drug and is only available in selected hospitals in the UK. John was in isolation for about 7 weeks and returned home early January. He is doing really well and is now having further tests and treatment. MDS are desperate for any donations towards their research. We are going to give 50% of all our funds raised to them.
Another friend Vicks was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and is also having Chemotherapy and ongoing treatment. She has also received fantastic care and treatment. We will be giving the other 50% raised to Breast Cancer Now.

We provide a 1-2-1 helpline opened 5 days a week, organise local meetings and maintain an updated website and Facebook Group, among other activities. Thanks for making this possible!
