In November and December Rebecca Bennet is having her first solo art exhibition since her diagnosis and subsequent stem cell transplant for MDS caused by GATA 2 deficiency.
Rebecca said to us:
It is a massive step for me and will be great to show some of the art I have been doing over the last few years.
The exhibition will be starting on the 4th of November at Rydal Hall in Ambleside and I will be making donations from sales to the wonderful charity MDS UK who support patients and families affected by Myelodysplastic Syndromes which are a group of malignant blood disorders in which the bone marrow fails to produce healthy blood cells.
