ESSEX REGION MDS SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS

PATIENT-TO-PATIENT SUPPORT FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY MYELODYSPLASTIC SYNDROMES

Informal meetings every few months for tea / coffee, biscuits and mutual support

When: Thursday, 12th March, 10.00 - 12.30 pm
Where: Broomfield Village Hall, (Small Hall), 158 Main Road, Broomfield, Chelmsford, CM1 7AH

On the meeting there will be an hour of informal time to chat while having tea, coffee and biscuits. 

From 11.00,  we'll split into smaller groups to share issues we have in common - for example,  CMML, del 5q, blood transfusions, Azacitidine, etc.

Please be aware that we ask you not to attend this meeting if you have a current infection less than a week old or if you have a sore throat, symptoms of stomach bug etc. This is to protect the health of any members who have low white cells or who are having chemotherapy or other treatments which make them more vulnerable to infection.

Meeting is free to MDS patients and their family members or caregivers.
