The COVID-19 pandemic has brought many changes to how we live our lives,. It has brought uncertainty, altered daily routines, financial pressures, and social isolation.
In this webinar, Dr. Timothy Pearman from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Jenny Finkel from Jenny Finkel Yoga will discuss self-care strategies for patients, families and caregivers which can improve emotional health and wellness and empower participants during this difficult time. Jenny and Dr. Pearman will also demonstrate accessible yoga practices which you can do at home to help keeping you moving and help relieve stress.
Timothy Pearman, PhD, ABPP, is a Professor in the departments of Medical Social Sciences and Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He is a board certified clinical health psychologist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Health Psychology (ACHP) and Director of the Supportive Oncology program at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Jenny Finkel is a certified yoga instructor and trainer. She has earned a 200 hour certificate from YogaWorks, Barre and Core Fusion certifications, AFAA group fitness certification and 500 hour yoga teaching certificate.
The speakers will also answer questions from webinar participants during the Q & A session!
