Register in advance using this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwtdeGvpj8jGNyN_6tprp9uSYj6NS2O1lSc
There will be a short Q&A session and it would greatly help if you could ask your questions when you register to attend.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
WHAT IS THE SOAP STUDY?
The SOAP study is looking at the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines in various cancers.
There is a specific sub-group about MDS led by King’s College Hospital, and we as MDS UK helped to recruit volunteers for it.
It is a small group of about 40 people – but will hopefully be robust enough to provide a good indication on how well the vaccine is working for MDS patients.
You can read more about SOAP on our website.
We will relay the initial results and the broad news in writing, on our website. We will also plan further meetings on this topic – as more data emerges.
Please – as ever – register to attend this meeting.
Hope many of you will join us.
