Caitlin Limmer 10 hours spinathon for MDS UK!

When is this event:

Date: 20/10/2021
Time:
7:30 am - 5:30 pm

On October 20th our unstoppable patron Caitlin Limmer span in the centre of Richmond, Surrey for 10 hours to raise awareness for MDS and MDS Patient Support Group!

Caitlin says in her Virgin Money Giving page:

October the 25th is World MDS Day and as Patron of the charity and someone who has Myelodisplastic Syndrome it means a lot to me to fly the flag for MDS.

MDS is a rare blood cancer which I have had for 17 years and thankfully at present is being well behaved. The only cure for MDS is transplant.

This is being kindly supported by Digme Fitness in Richmond - the friendliest spinning company I know, and for whom I am an ambassador.

Caitlin Aims and Aspirations for MDS UK Patient Support Group

Caitlin Limmer has been a huge supporter of the MDS Patient Support Group for many years.

In 2015 she was awarded a Points of Light award by David Cameron and in 2014 a Richmond Council Community award – both for her contribution to sport and her awareness raising of Myelodysplastic Syndrome.

We are incredibly proud to have Caitlin as a patron and we are immensely grateful for all the work she is doing to raise awareness of MDS and to fundraise for us.

Today, more than ever, we need generous people like Caitlin, to maintain our services to MDS patients and their families during Covid-19.
