We were honored to have Mikkael Sekeres, MD, MS and Isabel Schuermeyer, MD from the Cleveland Clinic as our experts for this last webinar. Dr. Sekeres is the Director of the Leukemia Program, Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute and serves as the Chair of the AAMDSIF Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Schuermeyer is the Director of Psycho-Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Sekeres and Dr. Schuermeyer discussed what precautions bone marrow failure disease patients and their caregivers should be taking as well as ways to deal with the anxiety that many of our patients are experiencing.
