Blood Transfusion Patient Education Event (online)

The Regional Transfusion Committee for North East & Yorkshire are hosting a free online Patient Education Event for anyone who would like to learn more about blood transfusions.
The event is open to people receiving transfusions, as well as family members, friends, carers, and anyone supporting someone who receives transfusions.
During the session, you can learn more about:
• how to use the My Transfusion App
• how to report transfusion reactions after leaving hospital
• the risks of blood borne viruses in transfusion
