Hi, I managed to get annual travel insurance from World first travel insurance it cost £103.
https://www.world-first.co.uk/ It was really easy for a change, some of the other sites requested I call an agent. Hope this helps with anyone's search. Good luck, Mark.

Re: Travel insurance
Hi Paul,
travel insurance can be a very frustrating topic for MDS patients I'm afraid as MDS patients. When you go to any insurance company for travel they ask you to declare any medical conditions and then usually transfer you to a different department, so always ensure you have your last blood counts available. If you're blood counts are within a "normal" range then it should be straight forward - but it all depends on the company to be honest.
Your bank may offer travel insurance - they're always worth a try, and if you look on this chat forum under the section on "Good companies for travel insurance" then you'll see other companies that people have used. I've just posted 4 companies on there today.
Hope that helps?

Re: Travel insurance
Thank You, I have had a few quotes
My wife was diagnosed in August. And we go tomorrow to the Churchill and confirm she will have a bone marrow transplant however she has been told she will be a low priority as she is fit. She still can play golf 3 times a week by having a transfusion every 3 weeks.
And the specialist is very happy for her to travel to our son in Majorca
Her blood count is just below 4 and that put it on the higher risk list.
I just want to make sure all is correct.
Thanks
Paul
