Oh dear. Sorry that you are in a pre-transfusion " brain fog" at the moment. It must be very frustrating but perhaps it will all seem clearer after your transfusion!! If not, yes, why not blame age?! I seem to have started doing that thing of walking into a room and wondering what I was going in for!!! There's a brief summary of the latest news from conferences in the next MDS UK Newsletter which will be out very soon. You can read it online on this site if you don't get a paper copy.

Chris.Trustee,Patient Support Ambassador (Essex) (F) Age 73 (2023)).Diagnosed in 2008. CMML-1. Normal red cells, low white cells & platelets, slightly raised monocytes. Enlarged spleen. Not had any treatment - active monitoring 6-monthly.
