Realising the potential of haematology nurses and allied health professionals

The Haematology Institute Nurses and Allied health Professionals Group is hosting a one day event on 10th July 2017 at the Robens Suite, 29th floor, Tower Wing, Guy’s Hospital London SE1 9RT.

The conference will celebrate the current contribution of nursing to the care of patients experiencing haematology disorders. With presentations from notable speakers and leaders in the field, we will hear about the vision for and patient benefits of a Haematology Institute. We will focus on a vision that encourages a holistic approach to patient care and fosters a culture of academic research and innovation – “from bench to bedside.”

The conference will appeal to all nurses working in a haematology setting and also provide an opportunity to engage in discussions about new models of care and the benefits to patients of a networked service. There will be opportunities to hear about current nursing projects and meet other specialists to share ideas. We look forward to welcoming our colleagues at this stimulating day.
