3 Dec. 2010Prime minister’s office responds to the AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) petition for azacitidine:
This petition was set up on the Number 10 Petition website by patient Donald Facey to ask the Prime Minister to “overturn the decision by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) to approve a life-saving new cancer drug called Azacitidine which will help all people who suffer from acute myeloid leukaemia to have the right to live.” This petition collected 525 signatures.
