Hailing from Delhi, India, Sirat is more than a policy enthusiast – she's a committed change-maker with a mission to make a tangible impact in the world.

She commenced her academic journey at the University of Delhi, studying Bachelors in Political Science and Economics and graduating with a solid distinction. Seeking to understand global dynamics, Sirat pursued an MSc in International Political Economy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2021 to 2022, within the Department of International Relations.

Beyond academic and professional settings, Sirat has been navigating various sectors, including healthcare, security, trade, and economics, since 2017. Her journey spans the private sector, public sector, NGOs, charities, and think tanks.

Currently, Sirat holds the position of Policy and Public Affairs Officer at Resuscitation Council UK, a healthcare charity in the UK. Prior to this, she worked as a Macroeconomic Group Policy Advocate at Tata Sons.

Sirat goes beyond her professional role, demonstrating a deep commitment to volunteering and active change-making. Whether she's mentoring refugees, engaging in grassroots initiatives, or advocating for positive policy changes, Sirat brings a genuine passion for making a difference to her work.

As a trustee, she contributes not only professional expertise but also a heartfelt dedication to the cause of Myelodysplastic Syndrome patients.
Outside of work, Sirat finds fulfilment in cooking, traveling, reading classics, and enjoying salsa dancing.
