Don is a chartered accountant and was a senior finance executive with the exploration arm of BP with roles at regional and local level in Asia, Africa,Middle East and Russia/Caspian.
After retiring from BP he spent five years with the Bishoprics & Cathedrals team at the Church Commissioners for England introducing changes to how the Commissioners fund the bishops and cathedrals.

Don is also treasurer and trustee for Age (UK) Richmond branch and his local church. Don’s connection to MDS is via his long-standing friendship with one of the group’s members.
