Good luck with everything and we will be keeping our fingers crossed for you.
Wife of Ken, 57, diagnosed with MDS (refrac cytopenia, multi-lineage dysplasia with 5q- and del of 12 and 13) in Jan 2011, was transfusion dependent. Stem cell transplant on 14th December 2012 but sadly passed away 20th July 2013. Live in Barnsley.

Just to keep all updated my original admission got postponed.....I managed to pick up a tooth infection on day of admission!

Now scheduled for 6th June, so fingers crossed we get this treatment going!

Keep well until 6th June then - not too long to go! Must be the stress lowering your infection-fighting!! Not surprising really.

Well I am in!....day -7 today.....long road ahead, but lets get this done, and get on the road to recovery.....

Good to hear you got there without any problems must be nerve racking :!: BUT your there and your attitude is very positive ,hope you have a window with a good view so you can still enjoy this great sunshine we are having :)

Well last day of chemo today....few rough days on the way, but can't believe that part nearly out the way. Rest day Tom, then for the transplant Fri.
I view of what Ken Grainger did, I also have set up blog on the caring bridge website. Have found a great way of putting the day to day experiences onto something, and the fact it shares your news to those that want to know.

Will keep you posted, as my treatment continues
