Chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia (CMML) is a rare type of blood cancer. In CMML there are too many monocytes in the blood. Monocytes are a type of white blood cell.

Hi everyone
I just wanted to say Hello (and big thanks to Sophie for getting me logged in - and the lovely chat!)

My husband was diagnosed with CMML earlier this year. He is fortunate to be in the very early stage 1 and is not feeling unwell. He was diagnosed randomly whilst have a blood test for other things.

I have read lots of your message and am looking forward to being part of this forum.

Jan 14 blood OK back on w&w
Jan 19 disease advancement to CMML-F (fibrosis)

Glad to hear your husband is in the early stages and he is not feeling unwell there is another member Chris who has CMML and i am sure she will be happy to converse with you and i am sure she will be able to help if you have any issues , but if you want to discuss anything in general there are lots of us who will answer discuss and try to help
