11am Friday 20th November - MDS Zoom Café Online

Post by AVME13 » 17 Nov 2020 09:39

Hello everyone. There is an online MDS Zoom Café meeting taking place at 11am this Friday, 20th November 2020.

To register to join this event please click on this link https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/registe ... VFLBp66BJi and enter your details.

Here is Sophie's description of the event, taken from last week's MDS UK email newsletter to registered members:

Dear MDS UK members,

Following on from the wonderful connections between people during the 20:20 campaign for MDS UK, we decided to create an informal online group entitled “MDS Zoom Café”.

This is open to anyone wishing to connect to other patients, families or friends engaged with MDS UK. It will be an opportunity for a welcoming and warm social contact during this coming lockdown (and beyond) and an opportunity to discuss ideas, updates, events, information, actions, feedback or NHS experiences (good and bad ones). Maybe also touch on MDS research topics, as we work with a lot of researchers requiring patient feedback.

This will be a bit of an experiment – and if helpful and positive, we will keep it going.
We invite you to register right now – so we can gauge early on how many of you would like to join.

For the first meeting, we will not set a specific agenda, but allow everyone to get to know each other, and identify how often we should run these MDS Zoom Cafes. If you can’t make the meeting on the 20th Nov, but like the concept, please email us back to let us know.

If we have a very large number of participants, we will set up break-out rooms with different topics.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Many thanks and hope to see many of you online.
