Oxford Regional Group - Meetings
Posted: 24 Jul 2014 14:45
Date: Friday 22nd August 2014
Time: 10.30 am - 12.30 pm
Location: The Maggie's Centre, Churchill Hospital, Oxford OX3 7LE
(see https://www.maggiescentres.org/our-cent ... es-oxford/ for directions)
We have now booked the newly-opened MAGGIE’S CENTRE for our next meeting, which will take place on FRIDAY, 22ND AUGUST between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm.
Prof Vyas will join us at 11.30 am to provide feedback on MDS-related developments discussed at the international haematology event he attended last month in Milan - the Congress of the European Haematology Association (EHA). We will therefore open the meeting with refreshments and general discussion, and Prof Vyas's talk will be followed by a Q&A session which will last about 20 mins.
If you are able to come, please note that you need to park in one of the Churchill Hospital car parks, and not the one beside the Maggie's Centre, which belongs to the neighbouring Nursery.
All patients in the Oxford and Thames Valley area are welcome to attend, as are relatives and friends. This is an opportunity to get to know one another, share experiences and increase the support network in the area, particularly for newly-diagnosed patients.
For registration - or if you require more information - please do not hesitate to contact Kirsty Crozier, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, on 01865 235287.
