Admitted to King's on 17th Feb. Had medium intensity chemo - 1 nasty reaction quickly controlled. Infusion of donor cells 26th Feb. Had platelet and blood transfusions. Discharged 13th March. Lost 5 kg and physically very week and lethargic. Now better able to walk but still insecure. Still lethargic. Lost 90% of my hair and look a lot older. Had bm test - still awaiting full results but bm has space. Blood counts variable. Platelets have dropped from 139 to 36 - now 39 so wonder if enlarged spleen is chomping them. Other cells low but slowly going up. Maybe I will need a stem cell top up? So far no nasty side effects. Appetite reduced but still sufficient. Going to King's twice a week for blood counts and clinic. Any similar experiences to reduce my anxiety welcome
