Our colleagues in the USA are offering a free webinar on Friday, May 22nd, 2020 at 15:00 UK time on the impact of COVID-19 on the care of bone marrow failure patients.

Mikkael Sekeres, MD, MS will discuss issues related to the impact of COVID-19 on the care of bone marrow failure patients including the importance of patients remaining at home even as more areas reduce restrictions, adapting to telemedicine, and resuming treatments that may have been delayed.

The speaker will also answer questions from webinar participants during the Q & A session!

Mikkael Sekeres, MD, MS is Professor of Medicine and Director of the Leukemia Program at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute. He is a global expert on bone marrow failure diseases and an active researcher in the area of MDS and AML. Prof Sekeres recently published a book about his experience as a haematologist/oncologist entitled "When Blood Breaks Down:  Life Lessons from Leukemia".
