What a fantastic day it was The Cabbage Patch 10 Mile Race!

We had 8 members of Chase Buckanan run the race and many more came along to support. A huge well done to everyone running, we have great admiration for you all braving the rain and making it to the finish line.

We are very proud to announce the totals raised going to charity are, £6,000 to The Clarendon School and £2,000 to MDS Patients Support Group plus £1,500 raised by Chase Buchanan through their Virgin Money Giving page, and a well-deserved £750 to Stragglers Running Club.

We would like to personally thank everyone who so generously donated, we are all so very appreciative of your kindness.

The Cabbage Patch 10 has been going for at least the last 35 years and is tremendously popular – and almost as old as the London Marathon.

The race is also very generous regarding donations and support to charities. This year, The Cabbage Patch 10 Race also supported our small charity MDS UK Patient Support Group – for which we are enormously grateful.

We would especially like to thank Caitlin Limmer, for her tireless organisation and congratulate her on such a successful day! Plus a thanks to all the Marshalls and volunteers.

Continued thanks to Caitlin for her extraordinary support – on behalf of the charity and all the MDS patients and their families. You are making a tremendous difference to our work, the support we are able to offer and the general awareness of Myelodysplastic Syndromes!
