MDS, AA, AML Local patient meetings 2014 – London

NEW SPEAKER!
Patients and families are invited to attend the Myelodysplastic Syndromes & Aplastic Anaemia local support group meetings for the London area at King’s College Hospital London.

Please note we have extended this group to AML patients and relatives as well!

This is a greater London specific meeting.
As with last year – there will be 3 such meetings in 2014 – held KCH clinic days – for MDS and AA to make it easier for people to attend.

WHEN:
Wednesday 5th March 2014, 5pm to 7.30pm
Monday 2th June 2014, 3pm to 6pm
Monday 27th October 2014, 3pm to 6pm

Special Speakers

5th March:
– Emma Paine, Patient – will talk about her bone marrow transplant experience
– Joyce Turner, Patient – will talk about how she has been coping to date with her Aplastic Anaemia illness – from diagnosis to now.

2nd June – Philip Alexander, Counsellor @ KCH – will talk about relaxation techniques and how to overcome feelings of anxiety
