As of now, the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital is offering a general support group for all haematology-related conditions.
It plans to meet the first Thursday of every month, and will be facilitated by Rachel Stewart (Support Specialist), whom some of you will already know. Various topics will be covered, suggested by patients and carers.
Details of the August’s meeting below:
Date: 6th August, 4.30 pm – 6.00 pm
Location: Seminar room, Yarty Ward, Haematology Centre at Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, Wonford.
This is not a specific MDS UK patient support group. However if there is sufficient interest we may consider adding MDS-specific meetings later on. In the meantime we encourage everyone to come along, as there is sure to be a lot of useful information and shared experiences !
NOTE. Please contact either Rachel Stewart (01392-402879) or the MDS main office (0207-733-7558) beforehand, to register attendance and confirm no last minute changes on date / venue / time.
