PATIENT-TO-PATIENT SUPPORT FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY MYELODYSPLASTIC SYNDROMES
Informal meetings every few months for tea / coffee, biscuits and mutual support
When: Friday, 13th December from 14:00 to 16:30 pm - Please note different day and start and end times!
Where: Broomfield Village Hall, (Small Hall), 158 Main Road, Broomfield, Chelmsford, CM1 7AH
For this meeting, we are very pleased to be able to welcome Dr Pavel Kotoucek, FRC Path, Haematology Consultant at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford.
Dr Pavel is a long-term supporter of our local Essex MDS group and has referred many of his MDS patients to the national MDS UK Patient Support Group for information and support. He will be giving an informal presentation, sharing general information and a patient's role in the management of MDS.
This is a rare opportunity to have a clinical haematologist as a speaker, so please make every effort to attend!
Please be aware that, for professional reasons, Dr Kotoucek will not be able to answer questions about your personal clinical situation but can address general issues and queries.
Meeting is free to MDS patients and their family members or caregivers.
Tea/coffee/biscuits served.
If you have never contacted MDS UK, please call the main office for a full Patient Information Pack before attending the Essex Region Support Group.
Before attending, please contact Christine Dugmore at the Essex Region Support Group directly or call MDS UK Main Office
