This FREE event will be held at the Imperial War Museum Duxford, AirSpace Conference Centre, Cambridgeshire CB22 4QR beginning 10.30 am – to 16.30 – Lunch will be served.
This meeting is free of charge and open to MDS patients and their guests. Patients and their families will have the opportunity to participate in this informal discussion regarding their quality-of-life issues living with MDS. New therapies and patient treatment options will be discussed. You will also be given the opportunity to participate in a question and answer segment.
Guest speaker will be Dr Dora Foukaneli, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge

Getting here by bus
Cambridge C7 Bus Service – Monday to Saturday
Between Monday and Saturday the scheduled Stagecoach C7 service operates from the Bus Stop B in Emmanuel Street, via Cambridge Rail Station and Addenbrookes hospital, departing at 30 minute intervals from 8.55am and then throughout the day. The return times from Imperial War Museum Duxford are on the hour and half past the hour. The last departure is at 5.30pm. Getting here by car
Duxford is just south of Cambridge at Junction 10 of the M11 motorway, less than 50 miles from central London and approximately 40 minutes from the M25 (Junction 27). Via the M11, the Museum is easily accessible from the A1, A14, M1 and the North – see map. Please see www.rac.co.uk for a route planner or www.keepmoving.co.uk for real-time traffic updates. Please note that some Sat Nav systems do not yet recognise our new postcode CB22 4QR but do still recognise the old post code CB2 4QR.
Getting here by train
Cambridge railway station is served by regular trains from London Kings Cross and
London Liverpool Street, with other connections nationwide. Rail passengers can
then take the C7 bus service (Monday-Saturday) from outside the station.
