On Thursday 6th June our unstoppable patron Caitlin Limmer will be spinning in the centre of Richmond, Surrey for 10 hours to raise awareness for MDS and MDS Patient Support Group.
She is being joined by friends and general public on 3 other bikes in 20 minute intervals throughout the day.
Caitlin is doing this in association with Digme Richmond a fantastic spinning company that can be found in central London and Oxford too, of which she is an ambassador.
Caitlin Limmer has been a huge supporter of the MDS Patient Support Group for many years through her own close personal links with Myelodysplastic Syndrome.
She is the Race Director of Twickenham's famous Cabbage Patch 10 Race and The Turks Head 10k and the Founder of The Bearcat Running Club and has taught hundreds of people to improve their lives through running.
In 2015 she was awarded a Points of Light award by David Cameron and in 2014 a Richmond Council Community award – both for her contribution to sport and her awareness raising of Myelodysplastic Syndrome.
We are proud to have Caitlin as a Committee Member and we are immensely grateful for all the work she is doing to raise awareness of MDS and to fundraise for us.
