Caitlin Limmer’s Brighton Marathon
Unstoppable Caitlin Limmer has set herself yet another challenge in aid of our charity.
For the past three years Caitlin has been raising funds for MDS UK and other charities: The Princess Alice Hospice and Shooting Star Chase, with the help from the Bearcats running club, which she founded in 2012. Since then she’s inspired many to take up running and achieve their sporting goals while doing something for those in need and the local community.
This year Caitlin is going the extra mile to set a prime example for her fellow runners by undertaking the 26.2-milers Brighton Marathon – and she decided to dedicate all donations from her sponsors to our charity.
We are extremely grateful to Caitlin and amazed by her commitment to helping us to support MDS sufferers in UK.
What she does is exceptional in many ways and her ongoing support is very important to a small charity like ours.

“I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
As many of you know MDS Patient Support Group is a little known charity close to my heart.
It is based at Kings College Hospital a centre of excellence for MDS and helps many, many patients who go there regularly for blood tansfusions, bone marrow biopsies, bone marrow transplants etc.
They work in a tiny little office and are SO kind and friendly and always there to support their patients.
MDS is a relatively unknown disease and I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about it below, if you want to know, but I shall sign off now.
