Another fantastic achievement from the marathon veteran – Kevin Dwyer. He completed the London Marathon in 4 hours and 14 minutes, in great spirits. Kevin, you make it look so easy!

A further London Marathon Runner for MDS UK – Superb!!!
Brave Kevin Dwyer has won a place in the Virgin London Marathon as well – and decided to go for it.
We are so grateful for his dedication and determination – and his generous support for MDS UK.
This is not his first marathon though. Kevin has ran 100 marathons since 1983 – quite an achievement!
Many thanks Kevin for running this one for MDS UK!
Here is what he says on his fundraising page
http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/KevinDwyer693
“I was pleased to get a place in the 2015 London Marathon as it gives me the opportunity to raise funds for one of the smaller charities, the MDS UK Patient Support Group.
The charity provides support for patients and families affected by the blood disorder Myelo-Dysplastic Syndrome ( MDS) which is a type of Bone Marrow Failure.
Raising funds for this worthwhile cause will give me the motivation to train as hard as I am able over the coming months and make that journey from Blackheath to The Mall.
Thank you in advance for your donation.
Kevin”
Please support our friend Kevin with a few pounds – it all helps!
Or – please join us on the marathon day itself – to cheer on our brave runners – it is really hard to keep going at times – and a huge friendly cheer can make a big difference to your level of energy – to help you reach that finish line.
We will be there – but we need more supporters on the day!!
Please join us with MDS UK T-shirts and banners.
Many thanks to Kevin – and everyone else coming to cheer him on!
