Very saddened to hear about our dear member Roy Rush's passing.
Her daughter, Sharon Rice, shared with us these moving words:
Our Wonderful Dad Roy was a lorry driver for most of his working life. He was a true gentleman who loved to have a laugh, gave out good advice and would help out anyone. He loved to collect Capodimonte ornaments, play snooker and Bingo. He had many friends and loved his family. He was diagnosed with Myelodysplasia a while ago. He underwent surgery but sadly didn't pull through. We hope to raise money for the MDS charity in honour of our Amazing Dad.
