We are a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), this means we have the legal capacity to employ paid staff, deliver charitable services under contractual agreements, and enter into commercial contracts.

Activities – how the charity spends its money:
Support for those affected by Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a rare blood cancer
We provide:
- national & regional meetings with specialist speakers
- a website & printed information material
- a monthly eNewsletter and printed newsletter
- campaigning for access to treatment
- a networking service for MDS patients to share experiences & support
- cooperation with all UK MDS clinical experts
- PPI work for clinical trials and any other materials destined to MDS patients
- patient feedback options for clinicians, researchers and industry working in MDS
- Funding for a PhD project dedicated to MDS research
- A voice of MDS patients at international project levels
