Stem cell transplant hopefully starting 28th May 2014

After 2 years and 3 months my wife should start her conditioning chemo for a SCT due 3rd or 4th June. Her condition is Hypoplastic MDS the donor is French and a 9/10 match with obviously more risk. I have gone to just 1 days work per week in order to care and support Theresa, this will have to drop to zero due to the care and support needed over the coming months and I am not sure my employers will still be holding my job open for me. She receives ESA and we have been advised she may be entitled to PIP and if so I may then be entitled to a carers allowance. Does anyone have any experience, advice or information to back this up
