Private messages stuck in Outbox

Post by chris » 09 Nov 2010 22:01

Hi there

A private message I posted a couple of weeks ago is still in my Outbox so am not really sure if it has been sent or not. Can you let me know if this is normal. Some other messages I sent are in my Sent items which is where I would expect them to be?

Dear all,
our webperson gave me the following response to the problem:

"Messages stay in the outbox until they are picked up by the recipient, after which they get moved to the Sent box. This probably explains the apparently intermittent nature of the problem."

Please leave a message on here if this explanation does not solve the problem.
It seems to work for me so far, as the recent private message I sent has now moved from Outbox to Sent messages.

Thanks
Sophie
